Wakeboarding Camp with Carro Djupsjo

Last weekend we hosted 3 lucky winners and their friends on a wake boarding camp with Team LifeProof star Carro Djupsjo in The Cable Park just outside of Stockholm by Arlanda Airport. Each of the winners had the opportunity to learn to wakeboard for the first time and learn some knarly tricks with current Swedish and 4 x European Champion. Read on to hear the about the epic weekend from Carro:

With mixed levels and ages we all were welcomed by “The Cable Park” by Arlanda who got all the riders equipped with boards, wetsuits, vests and helmets on Saturday morning. After 2 hours of private sessions in the water, where we were the only ones on the cable, we gathered for some yummy burgers and noodles while setting goals for the rest of the weekend. Some wanted to make a full lap on the cable, others wanted to learn their first jump and a third wanted to try a backflip. After lunch the cable opened to the local riders of Stockholm and our competition winners got to ride until they literally were too tired to hold on to the handle. We decided to head into the city center of Stockholm for a delicious dinner before everyone fell asleep as soon as our  heads hit the pillows. On Sunday we woke up and had a Swedish hotel breakfast together before getting to work on those goals with another private session. This time I got to ride doubles with the crew, showing them what to think about and everyone started to reach their goals and began quickly setting new ones. By 5 PM and after some chilling in the sauna to warm up from the Swedish summer we gathered around and said goodbye until next time. Thanks LifeProof for everything this weekend and thanks to everyone taking part in the contest, I hope to see you next time!

A big thanks to everyone that took part and to Carro for passing on some of her flair for wakeboarding. Stayed tuned on our social channels for more opportunities to get involved in events like these.
