Team LifeProof Highlights | April

Rain or shine #TeamLifeProof have been pushing themselves to the limits across April. Chasing the last bit of snow and laying down new tricks in the FMX arena, it has been an action packed month boasting a host of medals. We’ve captured all of the team’s general awesomeness this April here:

Youri Zoon – Kite Boarder

Coming back from injury with a bang, Youri Zoon takes the second competition of the season by storm and shares 1st place. It’s not often that an athlete comes back stronger after an injury, but Youri has shown time and time again that he will push himself to be the best.

Luc Ackermann – FMX Rider

On Saturday 30th, 18 year old LifeProof FMX rider Luc Ackermann competed in the season opener of the South American FMX season, xPilots. Laying down tricks like the Tsunami Flip, Superman and Hart Attack, he had the performance of the year securing his first Silver of the 2016 season.

“I am super happy with my second place. The conditions were not easy, but I stole the show with some of my best tricks. “ – Luc Ackermann

Adding to his prized Silver, Ackermann took the Bavarian capital by storm during NIGHT of the JUMPs, Munich to collect a Bronze medal.

“I am so pumped about my 3rd place. I have practiced so much in the last weeks and it paid off. All my new tricks like Open Loop and California Roll felt so safe. Can’t wait to ride the final of the European Championship at NIGHT of the JUMPs in Mannheim.” – Luc Ackermann

Brendan Fairclough – Downhill Mountain Biker

Brendog hasn’t quite found his footing this season. The 2nd world cup event in the downhill mountain bike season in Cairns, Australia didn’t go as planned, as you can see in this snap below.

This small setback isn’t holding Fairclough back by any means, he has set off for Madeira to dial in his riding and come back stronger. Watch this space!

Jonathan Paredes – Cliff Diver

Bigger is always better right? Jonathan Paredes sure thought so when he teamed up with cliff diving legend, Orlando Duque to tackle Victoria Falls. Check out the full edit on Red Bull TV.

Seb Garat – Kite Surfer

French Kite Surfer Seb Garat charges through the season with passion and enthusiasm. Pushing his equipment to the limits at the recent DEFI KITE event Garat took home an impressive 3rd place in the Twin Tip category and 8th overall.

Terry Adams – BMX Flatland Rider

BMX flatland legend, Terry Adams has already reshaped the face of the sport by introducing never seen tricks and he is not letting up. Check out his latest creation here:

Adrian Krainer – Snowboarder

Austrian Olympic snowboarder, Adrian Krainer has milked every last drop out of the snow season, but despite his passion for the sport there is no more ride-able snow on the Austrian mountains. After such an active season it is difficult to keep all that passion and style hidden away. Krainer has taken to unleashing his skills on the skate park. Check out his first short edit:

Kevin Rolland – Freestyle Skier

Despite the Ski season being over Kevin Rolland is testing his reflexes and spatial awareness on a whole new level out on the F1 tracks. He’s not sure if he’s ready for the career change just yet. Maybe a few more X Games medals and an Olympic Gold may spur the change?!
