NIGHT of the JUMPs Krakow | Highlights

The 6th round of the LifeProof sponsored NIGHT of the JUMPs kicked off in front of 13,000 excited fans in Tauron Arena in Krakow last weekend. The local FMX hero, Marcin Lukaszczyk  put in a strong run but wasn’t able to make it through to the final with the big guns.

Libor Podmol surprised the crowd and judges alike 0wning a Surfer Take off Flip, Volt, California Roll and adding an Egg Roll on the quarter pipe as a new trick in his run. With this strong run Podmol secured 2nd place but no one was a match for Maikel Melero’s winning streak. The Spaniard had nerves of steel and laid down another display of perfection to take home his 10th consecutive NIGHT of the JUMPs victory. We’ve said it time and time again but what or who is it going to take to beat him?!

LifeProof athlete Luc Ackermann launched into his run with the brave motto, Go Big or Go Home! With an Egg Roll, Flairs on the Quaterpipes and a Sufer Take off to Tsunami (which almost got out of control!) and finished with the California Roll bringing him in at 6th place. Once Luc finds his feet on his new run he will be unstoppable!.

Luc was on form for the highest air and landed a gravity defying 8.50 Metre jump to take home the highest air prize. Check out this incredible stunt below:
