Night of the Jumps | Linz

The NIGHT of the JUMPs season kicked off with a bang in Linz, Austria. The top 11 FMX riders took to the stage to DEFY gravity and fight for the for a strong early position in the European Free Style Motocross Championship.

The finale opened with Pat Bowden missing his first trick, leaving the standings open to his challengers. LifeProof rider Luc Ackerman took on the ramp throwing down an incredible run with a surfer take off to Tsunami flip, but he fumbled on the Cordova flip which slowed his momentum and in the end he took a dive on on his Cali Roll which put him into a strong opening position of  5th place.

This was no match for seasoned riders Maikel Malero and Rob Adelberg who put together almost perfect runs and secured 1st and 2nd place.

Our LifeProof Best Whip contest was a battle of the young guns with Filip Podmol fighting against Pat Bowden to take home the trophy. Through a very narrow gap Filip Podmol took it home on the night.
